Asthma Advice
Learn about our specialised asthma clinics
At the Lodge we are lucky enough to hold specialised clinics for patients suffering from asthma. We have a dedicated team specially trained in asthma.
Asthma can change as you grow up. It’s very important to see or talk to us every year for a check-up, especially if you use inhalers.
There are many types of inhalers. Our team will help you find the right one and show you how to use it correctly.
We are in the process of changing from Ventolin to Salamol inhalers to help the environment. Salamol has the same medicine but is less harmful to the earth. You might notice your inhaler’s name changing next time. Don’t worry, it’s still the same medicine and works the same way.
It’s important to visit the clinic regularly, especially if you have had wheezing or used several inhalers in the past year. You might need more help with your treatment.
For more information, visit Asthma UK or the NHS website.
If you want a check-up, please contact us at The Lodge Health Partnership to make an appointment.
